Crochet Bulbasaur Pattern Info
My kids are OBSESSED with Pokemon. Fortunately I have tons of FREE crochet patterns and am excited to share them with you!
My latest work is Bulbasaur.
Since my kids are young, I usually do quick and easy patterns, but this one has such great detail, I had to try it. It's definitely more consuming than some other patterns I've worked, but the results were well worth it. The quality of the pattern writing is definitely among those of paid patterns. It has tons of visuals.
The only issue I found was the stitch count in the legs. I found comments about the same thing, but it really didn't make a difference to the overall look.
You can find the original Crochet Pattern of Bulbasaur by AradiyaToys, here.
If you want it to look more like mine, these are the changes I made.
Rather than embroidering the spots, I used fabric markers. Embroidering will give a longer lasting result, but I wanted something easy.
I wanted mine a bit larger, so I used Bernat mint for the body, Caron simply soft for the back, and size 3mm and 3.5mm crochet hooks.
If you'd like to see more photos, or purchased the finished product, you can find those here.
I'll be adding lots of other Pokemon crochet items and pattern info, so be sure to subscribe to find out more. And as always, feel free to reach out for any reason.
